Moisture Block Film Underlayment is a tough 6 mil film that provides additional moisture protection for laminate and wood floors installed over concrete subfloors, and is suitable for all brands of laminate and interlocking wood flooring sold through Lowes. It includes a self-sealing tape at the seams for ease of installation.
INSTALLATION
1. Always read the flooring manufacturers recommendations and instructions before installing the underlayment.
2. Before rolling out the underlayment, be sure to sweep, vacuum, and remove all debris on the substructure.
3. Fill in any significant holes, gaps or breaks that may exist on the substructure.
4. Roll out the Underlayment over the substructure surface.
5. To connect the rolls together using the Self Sealing tape, simply join the extended film lip to the other end of the next roll by peeling off the liner of the adhesive tape and adhering it to the extended film lip.
6. Always be sure to connect the rolls together evenly.
